Capital Area SQL Server User Group

The Capital Area SQL Server User Group (CASSUG) is open to anyone interested in SQL Server or related technologies.  We are a member chapter of the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS).  There are no membership fees.  Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month except December. 

We meet in the cafeteria at Autotask  26 Tech Valley Drive, East Greenbush, NY.  Enter the cafeteria at the patio entrance by the side of the building.

Our meetings usually go something like this:

  • 5:30 PM Food, soft drinks, and networking
  • 6:15 PM Chapter news and announcements
  • 6:20 PM Presentation (topic changes monthly)
  • We usually wrap up between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM.

Our mission

Our mission is to offer a free local community to everyone interested in SQL Server and related technologies with the purpose of providing ongoing education to that community through local meetings and online presentations, mentoring, social interaction and workshops.  We promote the local community to the larger Capital Region tech community, such as organizations that use SQL Server, organizations that offer companion products to SQL Server, SQL Server training and educational organizations, recruiting organizations and individuals with an interest in SQL Server.
