CASSUG Monthly Meeting 4/10/2017

Our April meeting will feature a presentation by Taiob Ali on migrating SQL Server databases to Azure.  The meeting starts with dinner at 5:30pm, announcements at 6:15pm, and the presentation at 6:20pm.

CASSUG Members Featured in Podcasts

Two CASSUG members were recently featured in podcasts on SQL Data Partners!  Greg Moore discusses emergency situations outside of IT and how they would apply in disaster recovery situations, while Ray Kim talks about technical communication and documentation!  Go check them out!


The Capital Area SQL Server User Group (CASSUG) is open to anyone interested in SQL Server or related technologies.  We are a member chapter of the Professional Association for SQL Server  (PASS).  There are no membership fees.  Meetings are held on the second Monday of every month except December. 

We meet in the cafeteria at Datto (formerly Autotask)  26 Tech Valley Drive, East Greenbush, NY.  Enter the cafeteria at the patio entrance by the side of the building.

Our meetings usually go something like this:

  • 5:30 PM Food, soft drinks, and networking
  • 6:15 PM Chapter news and announcements
  • 6:20 PM Presentation (topic changes monthly)
  • We usually wrap up between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM.
